It's almost TIMMMMEEEE, and the Biggles Holiday Airdrop tagset is up with tag nominations open!
https://archiveofourown.org/tag_sets/21583
I have decided not to carry forward last year's tagset, so everything will be nominated fresh. There are some tags in already. I've given everyone 20 tags to nominate, so hopefully that will be enough - if it's not, let me know and I'll put things in for you!
All tags are nominated using the "Relationship" field. If you just want fic about a character and aren't picky who they're interacting with, put "Character & Anyone" (e.g. Erich von Stalhein & Anyone).
New rule this year, by request:
You can nominate a group without specifying its individual members, as part of a relationship or on its own, such as "Any Special Air Police Member(s)" or "Erich von Stalhein & Biggles's Team" or "Any Member(s) of 666 Squadron" or (if you really want to live on the edge) "Any minor Biggles character" or similar. If you request or offer this, the way that I'll be interpreting it as the mod is that it can be ANY members of the group (as described in the tag) from 1 to all, and it can be ANY membership in the group that makes sense for the canon (so if you nominate Team Biggles with no other qualifiers, it could be Biggles & Algy in WWI, or Biggles & Algy & Ginger in the 1930s, or the foursome post-WW2). This is for purposes of making sure people who offer this don't get matched to someone who said "any" but actually meant "these 3 specific people", and vice versa. If you have something more specific in mind, it's probably better to nominate groups with the names of individuals or other qualifiers, like "Erich von Stalhein & Biggles's SAP team."
(That being said, you can definitely DNW specific characters on the "Anyone" options - I forgot to mention this in the rules, but you are not stuck with literally ANYONE if you request it. That is, if you request Erich & Anyone and then DNW fic about Zorotov, I think if someone literally ONLY wants to write Erich & Zorotov, they'd better offer that specifically.) My co-mod pointed out (validly!) that this might lead to a similar kind of clash as having people DNW specific individuals in a group, so let's just say that if you chose Any, you should be okay with Any (but I'll consider it on a case-by-case basis).
Let me know if you have any questions! I'm also happy to put tags in for people; just give them to me in the exact way you'd like them submitted.
Nominations will stay open throughout the signup period, so you can add more at any time.
