Should we do a Sept-Oct event?
We've got Holiday Airdrop coming up again in Nov-Dec, but I'm wondering whether it might be nice to have some little low-pressure fun thing for fall. (Or spring in some parts of the world!) We already had Smutfest and Cuddlefest earlier this year, so I'm thinking along the lines of that - something not too high-intensity that can keep our creative feelings going in the off season.
Here are some possibilities I can think of:
- A general, unthemed prompt fest.
- A "finish a WIP" challenge, maybe posting WIP snippets?
- Bingo cards (perhaps resurrect the Biggles bingo card generator from a couple of years ago?)
- A mini Biggles "flash" exchange that takes place over a week or two.
- Some kind of trope fest, reverse tropes, something like that?
Let me know which of these (if any!) sound appealing to you, and I'm totally open to suggestions if anyone has any other ideas!

And yeah, I also really enjoy prompts or other inspiration for short, fast fic - it's really helpful for me when long fic just isn't happening (which has basically been the last couple of months in particular). An event like that would be inspiring and useful for me!

So... bingo cards are always good. (I just got one for the AU Challenge, of course.) I need to actually check my Biggles bingo card, which I've lost track of a bit, but I've written so much by now, I must have surely done most of the prompts? A new one would be fun too though.
Ditto with a flash exchange or a trope fest. I'm always in a tropey mood. Can there be a maximum word count? π

A prompt fest with a ~10 word limit? So put your pairings/DNWs (outside of the word limit) then you have only X words to prompt with so it might be a bit more fast and loose than long plotty prompts?

Coming in late - to the fandom and to the thread - but would like to add agreement to the short and low-pressure encouragement to fic.
Have several hollyday exchanges I am planning to pounce for several different fandoms as well as Yuletide, so gentle encouragement to write with not a large added commitment sounds loverly!
